Yesterday, 2-unit crews, along with our automatic aid partners responded to a residential house fire. There are multiple tasks to complete at this incident, including putting the fire out, searching for victims, and ensuring the fire has not extended to other portions of the home. Having multiple crews available to rotate these assignments during our recent extreme heat conditions lessens the physical stress levied on the firefighters. We are grateful for these professional relationships.

We are incredibly grateful to the residents of Orange Township for your continued support of our Fire Department. Your commitment—through funding, advocacy, and engagement—has allowed us to grow stronger, expand our capabilities, and better serve our community each and every day.

Because of you, we’ve been able to invest in advanced equipment, enhance training, and ensure our firefighters and paramedics are prepared for whatever challenges come their way. This progress is also made possible through the strong partnership between our community, dedicated fire department leadership, and the support of our local elected officials, who carefully balance the needs of public safety with responsible fiscal oversight.

We are equally thankful for the voices of community advocates who champion our mission and help keep safety at the forefront of township priorities.

Most importantly, we recognize the hard work and dedication of the men and women of the Orange Township Fire Department. Their courage, professionalism, and commitment to service are what truly make a difference every day.
